So, I found this pretty frame at Michael's today, and thought it would be perfect for some kanji. I like the small size; the piece is 2" x 3" (ink and gouache on hemp paper). The kanji means "peace", and is pronounced "heiwa".
Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
