Moving: Prep Phase
With Gilbert now working at Walt Disney Imagineering, the commute from Yucaipa is a little much. It's about 80 miles one way, which can take up to 3 hours in traffic. So, we're going to start hunting for a place to live in the Pasadena / Monrovia area.
I think moving is considered to be among the top 10 most stressful things in life (depending on which list you consult), right up there with divorce and losing your job. I've certainly felt scattered the last couple days. We haven't found a place yet, so it's too soon to start packing, but I've decided to go through all our stuff and get everything cleaned and organized, and get rid of anything that we're not likely to want to take with us.
It's a big task! And I won't get it done by sitting here writing...
