Inkle Loom Pattern Generator Updated

Sunday, September 22, 2013

Happy equinox!  I'm kicking off the fall season with some long-overdue improvements to my Inkle Loom Pattern Generator.  This update should make it even easier than ever to create beautiful designs on your loom.

Now, you can click directly on the swatch to set your colors, and have the pattern generated for you.  Picking up a color you've used before is easy — just clear your color selection, and then click on a color from the swatch.  The color picker has been reorganized, too, to make it easier to find the color you want.

When printing, remember to enable background colors in your browser.

Have fun!

Thank you so much for this pattern generator. It has brought me hours and hours of fun and kept me from tearing my hair out having to do it manually. God bless you.

I am still having the two-page print issue. I'm using a Safari browser on an iPad 3, and printing via bluetooth on a Canon printer... The row of warp-thread boxes prints on Page 2, and the rest of the pattern on Page 1.

I had a user tell me that she was having a problem printing... Namely, that the pattern would print on a separate page. I wasn't able to replicate this, but I did try to tighten things up a bit on the print version. If you are seeing the same issue, could you please let me know what browser and operating system you are using? Thanks!
